Windows Server 2008 can be downloaded today as a CTP release for evaluation. The download contains all the Windows Server 2008 technologies including the Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
There are also a number of other ways to test drive Windows Server 2008 on the Microsoft website including pre-built Virtual Hard Disks for VPC and Virtual Labs.
