It is ready, release and available for evaluation download. The long awaited replacement for System Management Server 2003. This is a great upgrade lots of new features. Make sure you have a look at the Microsoft Website and have a go with the Virtual tours and review some of the webcasts.
- If you have SMS 2003 it is a must upgrade.
- If you do not have a software distribution solution and you run windows this is a great solution and cheap too.
- If you will be moving to Windows Server 2008 this technology complements Network Access Protection for remediation purposes.
One of Microsoft's quietest releases but a very significant one.
